Zaton is situated on the river Krka. From Šibenik on, the speed limit of 5 knots is along the river. The port Zaton can only enter yachts of max height of 30 m. On the quay, which surrounds almost the entire Zaton bay, yachts moore at water depths up to 2.8 m. Traditional docking is with the bow ahead. Entrance is from the south. The river water is often polluted, especially during wind from the south. Restaurants and shops are on site.
