Laganas Port is a fishing village near the village of Lithakia, close to Laganas, and lies in a protection zone. The speeding limit within this zone is 6 kn and it is not allowed to moor or anchor here in summer and early autumn. The harbour is often occupied by local boats. Yachts moor in the harbour at a water depth of up to 3 m. It is dangerous in the harbour when the wind blows from the SE. There is a tavern and a disco right at the harbour. Loud music resounds through the harbour now and then until the early hours of the morning.

A guy tried to pull us on to the right just at the entrance. That seems to be a private part of the port where they charge 25€ just for thr yacht (46ft). When you go deeper inside the port to the main road, the price is 3,5€. Do not believe them if the claim that this is just for reserved larger vessels …
